Dr. Lisa Gibson is originally from Ontario, Canada. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Guelph and her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College. Following a rotating internship at VCA South Shore in Massachusetts, Dr. Gibson completed a comparative ophthalmology internship at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and a neurology-ophthalmology research internship at the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine before returning to Tufts for her ophthalmology residency. Her clinical interests include corneal disease, ocular pain management, and the unique ophthalmic care of exotic animals. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Gibson enjoys hiking, travelling, and exploring museums.
